Stewardship

How do we value our time? Our talents? Our treasures? Our temples?

Do we cling to everything too tightly with obsessive control and manipulation?

Do we hang on to everything far too loosely, taking it all for granted?

Are we aware that all of our possessions are, in fact, finite blessings which are graciously “on loan” to us by God?

On this “Thankful Thursday,” may we remember that we are stewards who own nothing but are responsible for everything entrusted to us by a really good and generous God.

What a privilege and a perfect opportunity to give thanks and praise for the wonderful gift of stewardship!
