Joy and Strength…

Welcome to the first Sunday of 2021 in which I happily and eagerly introduce our “Joy and Strength Series.”

Every Sunday for the next 3 months, we will journey toward the overwhelming peace that comes not only from resting in God’s joy, but also from relying on His strength. We will pause and reflect on brief scriptures that demonstrate the many ways that God makes these mighty gifts available to us. We will see how God has always been a steadfast God of joy and strength to His people, and this means that we have access to these blessings as well.

Friends, the help of Heaven is on our sides. The Lord is with us and for us. He is our Joy and Strength today, tomorrow and the next day. We will learn this more and more as we travel together in the weeks ahead. Thank you for accompanying me…
