Do We Want to Get Well?

Good Morning!

Last week we reviewed how detrimental our sedentary habits are to our well-being and how morning exercise can serve as a refuge from this toxic storm.

What then is our initial step toward becoming morning exercisers?

Plain and simple...

We must decisively respond to the very important question...

Do we want to get well?

The answer is either yes or no with absolutely no “buts” to follow...

The “buts” have kept us stuck in ongoing cycles of excuses and frustrating inconsistencies in our health and fitness.

The “buts” have left us sitting on our mats settling for lack in the form of obesity, fatigue, aches, pains, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, anxiety and depression.

An urgent decision is required because whatever we are not changing, we are choosing. Indeed, the first step toward getting somewhere else is to decide that we aren’t going to stay where we are. All the creative and useful tips for establishing a morning wellness routine won’t make a bit of difference until we settle on a resolute answer to today’s question...

Do we finally want to get well?

Friends, rest assured that getting up from our mats is going to involve leaving something or maybe even someone behind.

What is the mat from which God is calling each of us to rise in order to get well?

What no longer needs space in our lives at the expense of our health?

Let’s name it so that we are equipped to answer the question that remains...

Do we want to get well?

Our response has the power to move us from glory to glory, eventually even moving us to become morning exercisers!

Everything really can change when we decide to get well…
